Sketch Constraints and user parameters

Hello,

I've spent a couple of days now trying to constrain a fairly simple object and have the objects inside tied to a custom parameters.

Basically there is an outer shape that stays constant, i want to fully constrain in. Within that shape there are circle shapes, for 6 of them I want to be able to change the radius and the spacing between them without affecting any other shapes. I am certain that this is extremely simple, but I've just started learning F360 on my own last weekend.

This shape is going to be exported as DXF for laser cutting, so I need the sketch to make sense.

Thanks in advance.

I recognize that shape...  🙂.  In casually playing with this sketch, it seems to respond pretty well to changes in magwidth and spacing.  You just need a few dimensions and constraints to fully constrain the entire sketch, then it should be great.

I realize I kind of left you hanging there.  Here is a screencast of how to improve the sketch by adding some constraints and dimensions, to make it more fully constrained:

@jeff_strater

Jeff, you are amazing!

I had no idea that simple flatwork would need so many constraints.

Glad to see some Strat people here. Thank you for your help
