Hi there,
I have a rotary laser that I use to cut my parts on and it has the option to cut, air scribe, and drill. I have a bunch of parts that have holes and I am adding part numbers so I can quickly identify the part as it gets cut.
Currently, I am adding text to a surface and extruding to create a "text hole". Where it gets to be time consuming is when I move it into the next program and I have to identify what is a true hole and what needs to be air scribed because they are both read as a hole. Is there an easier way to go about putting part numbers by defining it as a separate layer or differentiate between the holes and text?
For additional reference, the next program I am using it CamALot from JD2.
