Not too sure what's went wrong with my loft, was just trying to form a smooth curve downwards when this occured.  Can anyone help?

Kind regards

Ricky

What's the second error? The first doesn't seem right, but the second might be causing it.

@TimelesslyTiredYouth

Arc is not tangent constraint to line.

Can I see how you created the centerline? Might be a tiny, unnoticeable thing that Fusion doesn't like

I'm so sorry, I thought I attatched the f3d file.

Two holes, one 22cm, one 18cm, reduction in size for an increase in velocity. I thought I would use a loft to create the slow decreease in pipe size from 22cm to 18cm. However, when I created the guide rail, so that the pipe would curve downwards I get that error. I've made a silly mistake while sketching the guide rail and I just don't understand where it is.

This is just a concept design to experiement with fluids, all that's gone wrong is me forgetting the principles of using guide rails with a loft.

Your Centerline Sketch is inaccurate as drawn; the dimensions are locking the 2 lines in such a condition that the curve cannot be tangent constrained at both ends of the curve.

Edit the curve so that both ends of it are tangent to the lines.

Loft not smooth error means the sketch articles are not tangent connected but HAVE to be.

If the lines can't be moved, then draw a trimmed (1/4) Ellipse.

The Loft does not break out of the main body. You need to add an extrusion of Sketch 4 into the cavity. (My preview)

Hi,

Remove the 10 mm constraint (or, alternatively, the 43 mm constraint) and then define a tangential constraint
