Silly simple question - creating a funnel?

Hi all,

Sorry for the stupid easy question, but I'm trying to create a funnel - wanting to 3d print an attachment that will convert from larger dust nozzle on my router to a smaller size.

Now I could create a random shape using a line and revolving it easily enough, however I need this to be naturally millimetre perfect and I'd also like it to remain parametric if I can so I can adjust it in future for different sizes at the top and bottom (assuming these darn tool manufacturers are never going to standardise their kit...!)

I've tried creating two circles and extruding them, I just can't work out how to 'join' these two together.

Can anyone give me a pointer or two?

You could use loft but you can't make hollow lofts so you need to first loft a solid outer then either extrude and loft the hole or just shell. Attached file contains both methods.

Hi have attached.

Yes, I can see how I could do it with revolve, but I don't think this would allow easy adjustment of the diameter unless I'm missing something?

Pretty easy to setup a sketch for revolve, especially if you use a centre line so you get diameter dimensions.

The easiest way I have found to change the size of something is by double clicking on parametric dimensions.

Oh dear - it's so obvious when you point it out.... sorry for the daft question! Must've have been too early on a Saturday for my brain to engage.

Thanks for all the help - most appreciated!
