(Sheet Metal) Issue unfolding square to round transition for plasma.

Having a issue trying to get this part to unfold.   Keep getting told this object is not connected to any bends.

I also want to put all my trim points for the welds in 4 places in the center of the bends, but I can mess with that later once I get it flattened.

I was following this video but hit this hiccup.

You were following him a little to literally.  When he thickened the surface, he thickened it to the outside which happened to be a negative number.  Yours on the other hand is a positive number.  Just edit your Thicken timeline step to positive and you are good to go.  Your model flat pattern is shown below.

Sounds like I will have to restart the process and draw it from ID dimensions of the transition instead of the out dimensions to get it to the proper size?   I wish these were editable dimensions I have to do these so many times.

My round was 8.625
The rect was 13.5 x 17.125

If you fully define your sketches - it should all be fully parametric.

(None of your sketches are fully defined.)

Also, you are doing too much work.

I saw one of your videos on the file with a fully defined one. Do you have a link to that file I can play around with? Not sure if you shared it here but having to search through a few thousand post is no fun.

See Attached.

I did with conical bends.

Thanks a ton @TheCADWhisperer .  The one you have makes it a breeze, but I cannot figure out that surface trim tool. We usually cut these things on the 4 right corners so they are easier to make. Do you have a idea how to do that?

I keep getting there is no visible surface to trim when trying to edit it

Sketch rectangle(s) to trim surface.
