Share public link not available - Project rather than folder

Hi,

Im trying to share a public link of a recent project although the option is greyed out. I've checked my admin sharing settings which are correct. I believe the issue is due to Fusion creating a folder rather than a project. When I create a new project ( not within an existing folder or project) it creates a folder which can't be shared.

Could anyone advise to what I am doing wrong?

Thanks

My license is educational? I have shared earlier projects without a problem.

You have to share your project from the Web Data Panel.  You can get to it quickly by selecting the icon shown and then use the Manage users and specify their roles.

Hi John,

Thanks for your reply. I don't have that option. The project type is showing as folder level rather than closed.

Thanks

Post a picture of your Fusion 360 Data panel especially showing the top half.

You are in the right place.  Using a screen capture of your last post, go to the indicated icon and select.  This is where the Screencast picks up.  I agree you are at the file level in the web database so follow the Screencast to move to the Project Members settings.

Hi John,

Thanks for thorough response. Sorry, I missed the point you were making originally, since sharing a public link hadn't been a problem up until now. I've invited a new member to the folder as you mentioned and assigned their permissions as a reader.

Thanks for the help.
