Share public link makes F360 crash

Hi everyone.

When I want to share a public link (with/without password, rights to download or not...) works pretty fine and sometimes it crashes (1 time on 5).

I have a pop up message that means F360 crashes and if I want to send a description to Autodesk.

If I write something and send It, it doesn't work either...

Weird...

Ideas?

I am seeing the same thing.

OSX

A dialog box pops up plain white. Though "Esc" makes it close.

I tried to see crash reports from both of you in our backend and did not find any but I believe that is because you do not have success sending in those reports. Which version of OSX are you on?

I have been trying to get the crash in house and have not been successful so far on 10.14.

is it crash right when it launches the share UI?

I am using 10.14.6. But after a reboot I am not seeing the issue any more.

(And what I was seeing wasn't really a "crash". The application continued to work, and the blank white dialogue could be cleared with "Esc")

So I don't think that my issue is the same as that originally reported.

I have had this problem sporadically since I started using Fusion360 on the Mac, but only in the sense that the dialog is blank, not that the app crashes. Lately the dialog is always blank. I'm running 2.0.7421 for Mac.

Hi @RajkumarIlanchelian

I tried to send something in the report but i can't. The wheel is spinning and the F360 window of reported crash disapears.

I'm not on OSX, I run it on Windows 7&10.

But never happens agains with the brand new update.

Looks someone found the solution.

Sorry for this soooooo late reply !

seeing the same thing here on OS X 10.15.4  F360 2.0.8176 and actually have seen for a while.  The little dialog window shows up totally blank - just a white box.  Interestingly if you click around, sometimes you get lucky and can land on the link to copy it out... not a fun experience.

@Anonymous Kevin, can you please let us know what graphics card is available on the machine you are seeing this problem?

Actually maybe here's a clue - I only get the blank screen from a design pushed from EAGLE.  If I insert that same design into a new design, then share the link from there, everything is fine.  Graphics:

Radeon Pro Vega 20 4 GB

Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB

@Anonymous Thanks for sharing the information. We are aware of a problem with Radeon graphics card that we are trying to put out a solution for. Meantime can you please try this workaround called out in this thread ? This is for Windows but the same should apply for Mac. Atleat this will tell us if it is the same problem or not. https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/fusion-360-support/share-link-dialogue-box-visually-hard-to-see/td-p/9495152

Still happening.

The issue is that you can't close the dlalog box to get back to Fusion. The box grabs application focus, but has no way to give it back.

I think it happens if you try to share the link too soon after the initial save. Note that the active part is still a generic icon in the left column.
