select face to select all edges for filleting

Fusion cannot select all edges of a face when filleting when clicking just onto the face.

you can only manually select non tangent edges or draw a selection, which itself has problems based on design complexity

so it would be good if like in the image blow I just click on the top face and it selects all logical edges!

Hey Claas - this would be some nice functionality. Have you used the Rule Fillet command? The Rule Fillet allows you to select a face and add fillets to all of its associated edges. This behaves parametrically, so if a prior sketch that drives the face is changed all associated eges will be fillet-ed (even if the number of edges increases/decreases).

Let me know if you have any questions!

Taylor

Why is the Rule Fillet function only available when design history is selected?

Rule fillets are dependent on parametric updates and will update to changes in shape in the timeline.  I see the value to being able to get the same result in direct. But they would not be rules like they are in the timeline.

@schneik-adsk Not that this was applicable to my design but when possible the ruled fillets is a pretty sweet tool to have!

I've tried double-clicking an edge to select the edge loop but it doesn't seem to work either.

@kelotrbrbr double-clicking edges to select edge loops works only with T-splines (sculpt environment)
