Seemingly non consistent results with a pipe cut

I created an offset plane, sketch, line, made a pipe then cut a body all worked well.

I then repeated the process for the other side of the body.

This time the pipe using the projected points from the first side it did not fully cut the body, because the pipe is on an angle  so it shouldn't actually cut the bottom sliver.

So what is wrong (or right with the first cut)???

Did you notice that you have three broken sketches in your timeline ?

I would fix those before doing anything else!

The first pipe cut is actually NOT a pipe cut. You created a pipe with the "new body" instead of cut option enabled.

Then you extrude cute that pipe and then some away. A little unorthodox, but if it works ...

The second pipe cut is actually a pipe with the "cut" option  and looks different because the pipe is a too short for its intended purpose.

Mirror the first pipe, much quicker.

No access to the file for a while yet.

Should have projected the path sketch line, but don’t know if you did that.

keep forgetting how new users think.

So Mirror Both cuts, Thanks Pete.

Better still make one side and mirror the whole lot at the end.

Might help....
