Hi Fusion Experts, I need your help!
So before we go any further I want to make you aware I am not on here to compare CAD products, I am here to find a resolution whatever that maybe..... I love all things CAD especially F360.
I need to create a screw feeder using Fusion 360, I can't share these models I am under NDA, so I will share images.
The main issue I have is, I need the screw to be represented in the same way in Fusion 360 as it is in Inventor (again no comparison, just usage!) I need the coil command in F360 to produce the same result as it does in Inventor but I am willing to try other features to get this..... I know that I cannot use the coil command to give me the section shape I need, so I have been using it to give me a path to use the Sweep command, but I get a horrible result (see image).
I have also tried to sweep a line to get the surface then thicken but I get the same result as the thicken command doesn't allow me to choose a thicken direction ( Z direction ).
I am open to starting again, but I am determined to do this in Fusion 360 as it should really be simple! I know I am looking at this in my way so I need your help! 🙂
