Screencast red dot icon missing in F360

Dear all,

I wanted to record a video using screencast in F360. Unfortunately F360 does not show up this little red dot icon in the upper right corner to start the recording. Only my login name and the saml question mark icon is showing up.

Just to let you know - I am working in online mode and internet connection works well.

I use latest F360 and also latest screencast under my Mac OS X El Capitan 10.11.6.

What I am missing?

Sorry in advance if this is a dumb question, but just to be sure screencast is installed and running?  can you run screencast by itself outside of fusion?

Hi Timm,

yes - I already wrote in my opener thread that I use latest F360 and also latest screencast.

I also reinstalled screencast - then after starting F360 a small popup window appeared asking me if I want to run screencast as well.

So from installation point of view all should be fine. I just miss this red dot icon !?!

@thburn, I figured you had screencast installed but never hurts to ask. Sorry I don't have much more help to offer.

It is good you can still make screencasts, even though it is less convenient.

did you try posting this issue in the screen casting forum?

@jeff_strater can you offer any insight?
