Scheduled Maintenance

Does the scheduled maintenance on saturday from 5pm to 10pm mean I will not be able to get any work done? Will this always be an issue when they need to get work done on the cloud? Will there be a way to work on projects while the maintenance is being completed?

Thank you

Dave

Hi Dave,

Fusion will be in offline mode during this window. In offline mode, you will be able to keep working on any design you worked in the last couple of weeks. You can also  create new designs or drawings. Once the maintainance is done, your edits and new items will be synced to the cloud automatically.

Thanks,

Bankim

Would be great if there was a way to at least upload new files when offline. At work all day today and am unable to work on any new files that must be imported (dxf/etc from customers).

If I understand correctly, one of the improvements in the new version- which is the occasion for the maintenance- is that we will be able to import some file types (STEP, IGES, and SAT) directly from the desktop without going through translation on the cloud. Hopefully that will expand in the future.  I understand about weekends being a foreign concept.

Like Ron said, this update will support creating new designs from SAT, Step and Iges files, even in offline mode. DXF didn't make in this update but should be in the next one.

Thanks,

Bankim
