Scarf Joint

I'm trying to break this ring into two separate pieces so that on VCarve Pro a scarf joint can be created. I am lost on how to do this while still having the overlap necessary for the joint, otherwise splitting it down the center would create a butt joint.

Please attach your model.  If you do not know how to attach your Fusion 360 follow these easy steps. Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section of a forum post to attach it.

Use a diagonal line in a sketch as the splitting line.  Sketch can be on one of the planes: XY, XZ, or YZ.
