Scaling object for 3D printing

Hi,

I am working on a model for 3D printing. I didn't notice when I started, but now found out, that my model is like 4mm in height, but I need it to be 20cm.

I already saw the scale feature, that allows me to scale each body. But the problem I see is, that also sketches and everything have to be scaled.

So my question is: Is there feature, where I can say: The 1mm in my current model, should now be like 1cm. So I would just change the "scala" but do not have to scale each body etc. Does it make sense? 😉

Kind regards,

Chris

When starting any design - I recommend dimensioning the first line, rectangle or circle for a sense of scale and the use robust modeling techniques throughout the effort.

I would chalk this one up to a learning exercise (learned the hard way) and start over from scratch following my Rule #1 above.

If you followed Rule#1 you could scale sketches and bodies at the same time by selecting the bodies and sketches in the Browser.

p.s. It works even if you didn't follow Rule#1 Smiley Happy
