saving/quitting and re-opening

I noticed another recent post about some issues of saving and quitting, and being unable later to open the model of interest. I am seeing something similar, although I have not experienced not being able to open the model. The observable symptom is initializing F360 for the day, and seeing the thumbnail for the last model saved exhibiting the rotating icon, as though it is still saving.

I paid particular attention to this yesterday when I closed a model, after specifically saving it and seeing the "save" icon disappear after saving, then I closed the software, and was presented with the "save and quit" dialog box. I found this a bit odd, since I had saved the model already, but I clicked "save and quit" which is my usual practice.

Today, when I opened the software, the model in question showed the rotating "save" icon in the data panel. I know from previous observation that this apparently false saving activity (whatever it is) will continue indefinitely until you open the model.

Last point, this seems to be much more frequent now, as opposed to several weeks ago. I'm suspecting that there may be some loose ends in the "save and quit" code, FWIW.

Thanks for reporting this issue! I think I've successfully reproduced this issue. I suspect it is a cosmetic issue since I'm able to open and save the designs after the fact. I'm reporting to development and will follow up an update as soon as it becomes available. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

Thanks,
