Save Bug with two Fusion instances running

Launch two instances of Fusion, create a box primitive in one instance and try to save it... the Save dialog gets hidden and in Windows 8.1 there doesn't seem to be a way to get it to appear. All the usual tricks for retrieving hidden dialogs don't work. The same thing happens with Save As.... you have to crash out of Fusion AND there's no recovery file generated.

Hi @scottmoyse

Thanky you for reporting this issue.

I'm not able to reproduce the problem as I understand it. Please have a look at the below screencast, a quick recording of my testing.

http://autode.sk/28YA2WI

Procedure

1. Open the Fusion 360 twice

2. create box

3. Save

OS : Window 8.1

I suspect you have something specific to your environment that causes this issue.. e.g. anti-virus software or a peripheral device etc..
Is there anything specific things to your computer that could be disable for test purposes ?

With regard to the crash that occurred, did you submit the error report to Autodesk?

I look forward to your reply.

Thanks

Ahreum ryu.

Sorry it didn't crash... I had to 'crash out', meaning I had to kill the process in Task Manager. The only difference I can see is you are using a single monitor. Have you tried it across multiple monitors? One instance on each monitor?

I don't use anti virus... other than Windows Defender

I use a 3Dconnexion SpaceMouse & CadMouse, they are the only peripherals.

But today I can't replicate it.... Smiley Sad
