Save a selection of visible components in assembly

Hi there!

I would like to do the following:
1_ open assembly which is shared with others

2_ hide a individualized selection of components

3_ save this »status« in a way the others aren't affected

4_ save and close this assembly

5_ re-open this file and restore the saved selection of visible components

Is this possible in Fusion?
Thanks for your help, Fabian

Hi – does nobody see a possibility?
I have learnt to appreciate this possibility in Solidworks as »display status« / »Anzeigestatus«

Does anyone know whether a »selection set« can be extended?
I would like to subsequently add a component to a selected »selection set« and not redefine it

... if someone is interested in a workaround in the future: actually create a »selection set« with a selection of components, select it at the beginning of a session and hide the selection with shortcut ‘v’. Components can be added later as follows: first select the components to be added, then use cmd/strg to additionally select the selection set, create a new »selection set« and delete the old one...
(should be more streamlined, if you ask me...)

You don't have to create a new selection set.

Use the select button of the selection set to select all components in the set.

Then hold the CTRL key and add new, or remove existing components from the selection.

Then use the update button to update the existing selection set to whatever is selected:

If you use a paid subscription you can do this easier with Configurations.

Thank you TrippyLighting!
1 The trick is to »double-click« + hold cmd/strg to select the parts to add them into a preselection...
2 To use »Configurations« is indeed the smarter way for my question as Fusion includes »hide/show« as a parameter within the configuration command.
With this my question is answered.
