ruled surface direction question

HI dev team

so ruled surfaces are a great addition for modeling since extrude is limited the way it works as intended in Fusion.

What would be great is to be able to extrude a surface along an axis like in the image below.

I struggle with really finding the correct angle to extrude it straight up, 45 degree, or horizontal.

That would be a great addition!

(Or lol make that part of extrude)

@lee_sanders

Yes provided options are pretty good when I want to make a flange on relationship to the surface edge

like in the images below

but it is impossible to make a flange vertical or horizontal when the surface is not terminating the same way already like in the image below  you can see that I can eye ball a vertical direction only.

alias automotive has the ability to for the direction also use the world axis !

now obviously in the case above I can also simply draw the line vertical and revolve it.

but think about this in general as an ability to make the draft surface using the surface normal, tangent or whats missing along the world axis direction
