Rotate sketch plane to suit part angle

Im trying to sketch on top of the attached model, but Id like to create it in such a way that the rectangle will be parallel to the axis which runs through the part.

Im fairly new to this so forgive me if this is basic!

My first thought was to create and rotate a plane from the face, but I dont see any option relating to rotating planes?

Thanks for taking the time to look at this.

It does exactly as I asked and I can move forward now but is there a way to view and work on this sketch where I don't have to crank my head at 60 degrees? 🙂

Right click on the View Cube.  There are several options for setting the current view.  Use the Orbit tool to rotate the screen first.
