Reserved Keyboard Shortcut

Why can I not use the "S" key as a shortcut for the sweep command? When I try and set the shortcut for sweep command as S I get a message saying it is reserved and can not be used as a shortcut.

Hi,

Looking at the User Guides (Help documentation), it seems to be that the "S" key is reserved for the "Toolbox" command.

See more on shortcuts here: https://help.autodesk.com/view/fusion360/ENU/?guid=GUID-F0491540-0324-470A-B651-2238D0EFAC30

The s key is used for the shortcut toolbox. There are a few keys, such as ctrl+z and ctrl+s, that cannot be used since they are already programmed to undo and save, respectively. If you are set on using the s key for the sweep shortcut, then you could use alt+s as the shortcut. Since S is already set for toolbox it cannot be used, but alt+S can be used. Here is a link with information about what keys can and can't be used and why they can't be. https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/fusion-360-design-validate/update-customizable-keyboard-shortcuts/m-p...

Thank you both. That makes sense as to why it can't be used. I was unaware of the shortcut toolbox @whittakerdw  mentioned. That will be really helpful to use. @shabbir.abdulhussein  thank you for the link. That is really helpful as well.
