Rescale outer perimeter of object

Hi,

I have been trying to change the size of the front face of my mold for a while now. I want to decrease the outer edge size of the 3D mold by 0.5 while keeping the length and depth of the mold. I have attached the stl file to this. Please let me know how to do this. Here is the attached link to the file: https://a360.co/3t5c0D0,

Let me know if you need anything else.

Thank you

That link can be seen but not downloaded.

Will need the Fusion file, before the STL was saved.

Change the width dimension of the box.

Or are you saying the Part and Mould is to be modified?

As @davebYYPCU said, we need your Fusion 360 model, not the STL.  Please attach it.  If you do not know how to attach your model, open it in Fusion360, select the File menu and then choose Export and save the .F3D file to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section of a reply forum post to attach it.

Your mould is 40mm deep.  So bit of a scaling issue there.

You file is in cm, and you wish to cut 0.5 (0.25 each side) off the height right?

0.5 whats?

Edit the File, and make Offset Planes where you need to cut. (Origin is not centred)

Edit the mesh body, and under Modify > Plane Cut

select the body to cut, select the plane you are cutting with,

select trim and Uniform infill,

Repeat for the other side.

Might help....

My way of doing it, if I understand you requirements correctly, is a little different from the other gentleman.  Model is attached.
