Are you accessing the Physical materials library or the Appearance materials library? The Physical one has a lot less but will contain the physical properties of that specific material.

Hi there,

As Keqing mentions, Fusion differentiates physical and appearance materials. The most natural place to work with appearance materials is in the render workspace. Here you will find an initial library of roughly 300 materials for mechanical and industrial design. You can customize these and save them back to your favorites for future use. Additionally, we're in the process of connecting Fusion to a cloud repository which will provide many more options for rendering materials. Stay tuned!

Regards,

John

Are users particpating in creating the materials for that cloud reposititory?  Is there a place where we should  be uploading materials as we create them to share?have a   Creating a good material takes a whole lot of time.  I'd love to have a appearances swap meet somewhere in A360.

Hi @Anonymous

Initially the cloud library will be created and maintained by the Fusion team. In an upcoming release you will be able to save materials that you create to a project library that you can share will other members of your project.  I like the idea of a public resource for user/ADSK made materials but that is not on the roadmap currently.
