Render Shadow with Pure White Background

I have a model I want to render with a pure white background but I also want the shadow to show up. It seems that the shadow only appears when using an environment vs. using a solid color. Is there a way to choose a solid color and use the shadow as well?

@craigfoo

When you save out your image, is that when the shadow is not showing up or is it never there?

I found what I was doing wrong. My environment was using "Grid Light" which wasn't giving a great shadow. I changed the "Cool Light" and I have a nice shadow now.

EDIT: Spoke too soon, the shadow isn't showing in the final render.

EDIT AGAIN: Shadow might be there but it's very very faint.
