How do I remove the triangular sections shown in yellow on the image below? If I extrude from any plane then it cuts into the apex in the corner where the two triangles meet. At the point of the apex there should be effectively nothing to remove at all. Would Loft or Draft functions work somehow? I have played around with these options, but haven't been able to make it work, so if you recommend using one of these functions please be specific as to how to use them to achieve the goal. Look forward to hearing your advice on this 🙂

Here are a couple of techniques that work somewhat well:

You'll note the extra small face shown at the end of the screencast.

You also have multiple faces on what should be either continuous curves or planes.  You can select one of the faces and delete it to remove the redundant face.

You should be able to Loft from the point at one end to the triangle at the other end.

You can also go to the patch work surrounding, click on the planes of those yellow pyramids and delete them.

now you have no longer a body, but loosely thrown together planes.

now use a 'patch' to cover the openings. this will create a plane that fits exactly in those openings. then use the 'stitch' command to stitch them in place. Fusion then understands that body as a 'body' again.

hope this helps somewhat.

There are poorly formed edges created during the multiple sweeps over the same geometry. Deletes and lofts won't work well for this.   Instead of deleting it would probably be better to start new by forming the main body of the leg with one sweep, then create the geometry at the base using a loft.
