Removing Extensions from the Fusion 360 App Store

Mac App Store version of Fusion 360.

I installed an extension and now Fusion will not load. How do I remove the extension?

Also, this kind of help request doesn't really fit into any of the forums. I wish there was another section of the forum for general technical help.

Hi @GMDCNC,

I am sorry you are having this problem.  I am not an expert in this area, but I tried installing it myself and found it installed the extension here:

~/Library/Containers/com.autodesk.mas.fusion360/Data/Library/Application\ Support/Autodesk/ApplicationPlugins/HelicalGear.bundle .  I believe if you delete the HelicalGear.bundle, it should uninstall it.  ~/Library is a hidden directory.  To navigate to it, using Finder  use the Go > Go to Folder... menu item.  Once you have navigated to the ApplicationPlugins folder, you should be able to delete the bundle.  Let me know if you have further issues after you delete HelicalGear.bundle.

Thanks @kris_berg! I tried that first, and Fusion started working, but poorly. I ended up having to do a manual clean uninstall to get it working properly again.

This is the path that it was in for me, the other path simply had an alias that led to here. Hope this helps.
