Sketch Mirror Not Symmetrical?

Hello, I've noticed that if I move sketch shapes using the Move/Copy command, those items don't mirror correctly. Check out the photo to see what I mean. The mirror command copied the top circles but they aren't mirrored symmetrically. The mirror command copied the middle shape but only part of it is symmetrical. The bottom shape, which is the only one not moved with the Move/Copy command, seems to have been mirrored correctly.

Is this a bug? Or am I not understanding what this command is supposed to do? Could this be a problem with the sketches being moved (vertically, horizontally and at rotated) with the Move/Copy command? Is there a better way to tackle this?

Is there a reason you are using Move (converting to 3D sketch) rather than 2D parametric dimensions to locate?

I'm fairly new to this. Can you give me an example of what you mean? I'm using move to situate the sketches for a loft. I don't always know exactly where the sketches need to be for these lofts so the move command is useful so I can move them around as needed. Is there a better way?
