redefine project geometry

Hello.

I've had to recreate some geometry back down the time line. There are a few sketches further forward in time that need project geometry from the now non existent geometry.

These turn yellow.

The new geometry is similar, and in some cases the same, but Fusion does not know this is what it should be projecting.

Is there a way redefine a missing yellow projected line? ideally I would right click on it, or click on the little projection symbol as say "now use this line", but nothing like this works or exists?

If I delete the line, then project the new one, it just means that features that looked at the original projected geometry fall over.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Right. You have to delete and reproject. And then you have to edit the feature that depends on it and re-pick the profile(s).

Dam, thats real pain.

I understand if the new geometry is completely different. But when its been recreated, it would be good to tell it to supplant one bit of projected geometry for another.

Thanks anyway
