Generative Design stuck at Processing stage

If you’re experiencing an issue where Generative Design is stuck at the “Processing” stage, could you please share more details? In particular, it would be very helpful if you could:

• Attach the design/dataset you’re using (exported as a .f3d or .f3z file)

• Briefly describe the Generative Design setup (loads, constraints, materials, objectives)

• Let us know whether this happens with all designs or only a specific one

With the dataset, we can try running the study on our side to see whether the issue is related to the setup, the solver, or something else.

I understand.

The setups are quite simple, with only two fixed surfaces and in the relevant study only one load applied.

The material is a custom material, but has worked fine before without any issues.

I now have two designs where the program fails to identify that the solver is finished, and I am therefore stuck waiting on one of the outcomes. This is one of 7 outcomes, with the only difference being that the stuck process is for additive manufacturing with overhang constraint in the -Z direction. Study 2 fails to start as it is waiting for the solution to Study 1 in the picture.

It is worth noting that I have experience in GD from Fusion and other solvers, and I have been using this material and setup for more advanced simulations without any issue.

I was able to solve the Generative Design study without any issues.

I saw you have added a symmetry plane, i had to delete the Symmetry plane to solve the study.

The symmetry plane should not hinder only one outcome?

In addition to this, I cannot proceed as the solver is stuck. As mentioned earlier, Fusion think that the outcome is still processing, but when opening that outcome it displays as finished.
