Ray tracing lenses and light sources

Hi everyone,

Been playing around with optics systems in Fusion, and have to say that it handles lenses very nicely.

What it doesn't seem to take into account when raytracing however are emissive materials, as you can see the renderer treats the lighting of the object as if the lens isn't even there - even though the light "coming" from the object through the lens to the camera IS bent correctly

Is this simply a limitation of Fusion's renderer, or am I missing something?

Nice experiment you did with lenses.

I don't know if this effect is called cautics, but maybe Fusion can't handle it. It would be very nice to have this feature.

I've found other discussion about some light effects in Fusion:

Fusion does not render caustics

Caustic are patterns created by refraction or reflection.

Since I created the thread @LeonardoBN linked to I've made more experiments and in general, everything that has to do with rendering glass is pretty basic in Fusion 360.
