Radial Teeth /w Profile

I cannot find an online tutorial for this. How would I have radial teeth like this:

that follows a profile e.g. a sine wave? I've tried to make a plane and body split:

but that really didn't make it any easier to develop a profile.

Sorry if you misunderstood. I can't make radial teeth that have a shape like a sin wave. Like if I were to do the same thing in sheet metal. I could unravel the edge face and I would have a sine wave. I really don't know how to say it any clearer. I don't have enough controls with the split body and I can't find a way to gain better control over the defined plane. Like I can't make a radial sheet with n-divisions and move the edge verts up and down to gain the shape.

are you trying to cut your radial teeth with a surface like this?

the modeled pictured is mostly parametric, here it is with a different n value-

surface quality is decent-

just change th n value for number of "waves" and adjust sketch 3 for shape-

I say mostly parametric b/c you will have to edit the last stitch surfaces command each time you adjust n

Yes. This looks like what I tried to do before I tried using revolve, but I'm pretty sure this is what I should be doing to get the geometry below. I will go over the file. Thank you.

oh, is every "tooth" has the same shape you don't have to worry about stitching surfaces.
