Shell command failure at Y-junction

While using the shell command on this body, everything executes perfectly except for the Y-junction circled below. Both of the junctions are constructed the exact same way with no sharp edges or intersections, with the only difference being the angle that they meet. I'm not sure if this is the cause of the failure but I can't think of any other reasons?

Anyone have any ideas?

You need to attach your model so the Forum users can take a look. If you do not know how to attach your Fusion 360 model follow these easy steps. Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save as a F3D or F3Z file to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section of a forum post to attach it.

The best I could do is create the model with a 0.1mm wall thickness to the "outside" of the originally supplied model.  I had to use surfaces to get that.  Model is attached if it may help.

Great solution John, that works perfectly! Using this method would it be possible to customize the wall thickness to be something like 0.6 mm also? Thank you!!

The thickest I could achieve, before failure, was around 0.1mm.  You can try other values but I do not think they will work.  Too many tight corners in your design.

I would change the shape of the Y-pipes.
The tubes can now be thickened from surface or shell from solid.

@wersy,

First of all thank you so much for the help, the model you've created works great. I've been making some tweaks and adjustments on the model and was trying to smooth out that loft circled below and loft the end of that piece into an oval instead of the circular shape so the end of the tube will have an oval face, but can't seem to figure it out. Do you think you could show me how to change it on the model I shared with you earlier so I can know how to make more adjustments in the future?

I would shorten the elbow and make an oval connection surface for tangential transition.

Is there a specific reason these splines don't connect to the line tangentially?

I've modified the splines to have fewer fit points so they have smoother curvature and also to connect tangentially.

Would that work?

As of now I haven't changed the spline because it hasn't seemed to be an issue, but if I run into any problems with the shape then I'll take that into account. Thank you for the help!
