When I go:

Design>Drawing>From Design

It says: "Mesh, T-spline and surface bodies will not be included in drawing"

How do I fix it?

you cannot "fix" this.  It is a limitation of the drawing environment today - only solid bodies can be included in drawings.

Perhaps if you can explain in more general terms what you are trying to do and share a screenshot of the design, or even share the model we can provide better advice.

E.g. T-spline and surface models can be thickened and then you can create drawings from them.
