"Joint" with a bolt and an object but the object is made up of different bodies

I have a rotary lock in my model (STEP file from McMaster) and I am trying to use the joint command to place the lock onto bolts that I already have in place.  The issue is whenever I select the lock(which is made up of a series of bodies) and "joint" the rotary lock joins to itself.  My CAD experience is in AutoCAD so I feel like I want a group command to lock the rotary lock together but I am not sure if that is possible.  I want to move the different bodies of the lock together using the joint command to line up the lock with the bolts already in my model.

Any help would be fantastic.  Thanks

Right click on the component name, then select 'Rigid Group' (Check 'Include Child Components').  This will make the lock component behave as one body. At this point you can use a Rigid Joint to align the lock with the bolts.  If you want to animate the lock, then you should first create the separate rigid groups (or joints) for each set of bodies, then create a Revolute joint between them. After that, add the Rigid joint between the lock and the bolt.
