"Dimension tool" questions.

Hey all, I have a couple questions regarding the use of the dimensioning tool. The first question is, how does one keep all the dimensions on the same side of the line, for consistency?
Example here, is that I have one dimension that is NOT on the same side of the line as the other two dimensions:

My second question is whether there is an option, or feature to have all features of a drawing (say a line of multiple holes) have all of the dimension lines be collinear with one another, from a single datum, or do I have to line them all up manually by hand?

Hi,

Am I right you're in sketch mode?
The dimensions of the sketch have "only" a purely functional meaning and do not appear in a drawing. To do this, views must be created and dimensioned for a component in Drawing mode.
Please create a screencast in which you present your approach.

Hi @jaxm,

There isn't currently a way to flip the leaders of the dimensions - it's on the roadmap: https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/fusion-360-ideastation-archived/dimension-placement-flip-leader-sides...

As for part 2, it's only a sketch rather than a technical drawing like you'd do in the drawing environment or AutoCAD so lining them up by hand only serves to keep the sketch looking cleaner.

Thank you both for your replies! That helps a ton, let's me know I'm not entirely helpless! I'm not familiar with how to screencast, but you both answered my question perfectly with what little info I had.

Thanks a bunch!
