Hello, I am an engineer who designs using Fusion360 in Korea.

Please understand that the translation may not be good before starting this post.

Currently, Fusion360 is pushing for the feature called anycad as its strength, but there are still some shortcomings.

First, the primary segment for modeling cannot be invoked (for models created through other solutions)

Second, you cannot recall dimensions or characters by not being able to recall segments

For this reason, it is not easy for users with other solutions to enter Fusion360.

Companies that exchange data, in particular, refuse to use the Fusion 360 because of the above issues.

(This is especially a problem that occurs in companies that mainly use nx, catia, etc.)

Please let me know if there is a way to solve this problem, and if there is no current method, I hope this problem will be improved.

Thank you.

@jwmXXPW2 - I am not sure what you are referring to.  My one guess is that you are asking whether the feature recipe, including sketches, parameters, features and dimensions can be exchanged with other CAD products (SolidEdge, Inventor, Solidworks, Onshape).  Is that your question?  If so, the answer is no.  In fact, across the entire CAD industry, this is not possible.  So, this is not something that is specific to Fusion at all.  And, no, this is not likely to be improved any time soon.

Of course, not all CAD solutions today can load sketch data. I am well aware that this is a difficult task.

Getting sketch data is wishful thinking.😀

However, 'fusion360' must import the sketch marks. Necessarily.

That example
Based on files such as 'prt' and 'step'
'Creo' and 'nx' can import sketch marks perfectly.

This operation cannot be performed on Fusion 360.

This is a fatal drawback at the manufacturing site.

I recommend that you Attach example prt and step files here.

I think I can demonstrate your issue.

what are "sketch marks"?  This is not a term that I am familiar with.

Wonder if the OP is asking about PMI? Fusion seems to have some support in the manufacturing environment.
