Question from hobbyist regarding CNC

I've been loving and appreciating the free version of F360 for some time now. Thank you. I use it to design my parts, then save them "as mesh", and from there to Output, then Cura (3d slicer) to 3d print them. I'm about to build a CNC machine and I'm wondering how to output a gcode for that. Any help will be appreciated.

This will probably get more traction in manufacturing.

That being said you will need a post processor in the language of the CNC controller you use for your machine. In our shop we have 3 different post processor needs. The Haas, the Lagunas, and the CanCam machines all require different post processors. The G code is 99% the same but the "hand shake" at the start and the machine commands are different. Fusion has several post processors built in and any can be added.

Visit the
Autodesk Post Processor Library to find a Post Processor with Fusion 360 or Find an Autodesk CAM Reseller. Contact a CAM partner who offers post-customization services. If extensive or advanced post edits are required, Resellers will be the right resource. This might also help you.
