Put part of a piece at an angle

Hi

I am building a guitar neck and I need to put the headstock at an angle of 13º relating to the remaining neck. I designed the neck as a dxf wich I imported to fusion 360. I can do aeverythins except put the headstock at an angle. How can I do that?

Well, I think you can either extrude one profile all the way out in front of the other, then extrude the other all the way through the first with the Intersect option selected. Then clean up the details that aren't right.

Or, get everything done except the end, construct a plane at a 13deg angle off the top edge of the neck, put the sketch of the end on that plane and extrude it with the Join option selected.

I am newbee with 3d software and fusion 360, so I don´t know how you do the first solution. Can you be so kind and explain step by step how to do that?

In your first post, you said that you could do everything EXCEPT get the head on an angle. So I assumed you had SOME basic understanding of Fusion.

So I don't know, if you could already do everything else, why you wouldn't prefer the second option I showed instead of the first. I also don't know if you want step by step instructions related to the technical operation of Fusion, or step by step instructions related to the philosophy of using one method over the other, or what.

Also, it has been a week, so I don't well remember what I did.

Short answer, is to Extrude, the front sketch so it is bigger than the bottom sketch,

then anoher Extrude, - the bottom sketch up higher than first extrude, Change Cut to Intersect, you will get a yellow preview, if all is done right, press ok.
