Project /coil a sketch around a curved surface

Hi all,

I am trying to find a way to project a sketch on a curved surface, but not just projecting it : i want the sketch to wrap arounf the curved surface so that it is not distorted.

See on the screen shot : my idea is to have many little "teeth" on the edge of that body. Like a gear.

I'm trying since quite a while but i can't figure out how i can proceed...

Thanks for your help !

I attched similar model with a projected sketch. There is improtant to select Sketch plane and use 'Along Vector' option. Let me know if it helped.

Thank you for your reply. But i would like to know if it is possible to project the sketch not following a linear vector, but in a circular direction, to avoid the distortion of it in the middle. So, it is possible to not project it, but roll it around ? There is a function in Solidworks that allows to roll sketches around a cylinder. I was searching for a similar function.

Currently there is only one way to do this in Fusion. This thread shows the work flow. It's not ideal but it works. @donsmac posted a video that shows how.
