Hi everyone, I'm trying to make a candy cane, and I followed a video tutorial about it, but in the moment in which I have to use the "SWEEP" command to create the colored stripes on the surface of the object, I have problems and I can't understand where I'm wrong, I attach the link of the video tutorial and the video of how I made the object, hoping to understand where I went wrong.

Your design has more of a hook and the diameter of the sweep is bigger relative to the path (your cane ends up a bigger diameter). because of this the line is longer so when you add a twist you get self intersections, try making the line shorter and the circle a smaller diameter.

@artemSIV OK, yes, got mislead by the picture in post #1 where he does have the path and profile correct.
