Problem with Screencast.

Sometimes I need to signout then back in before screencasts upload properly, when I tried this today screencast signed me out of Fusion as well. I tested this a couple of times, this doesn't seem right.

Also when I sign back in I get this message and I have to close and restart Fusion and lose any unsaved work.

Hi @HughesTooling,

I've seen this as well (where screencasts get "stuck" uploading).  I don't sign out, I just close down Screencast, and start it up again, and that's usually enough to "kick" it into working.  I have to sign into Screencast again, but it never logs me out of Fusion.

The problem you report with Fusion where you log out and it shows your term expiring sounds serious.  @charegb, is this something you know about?

Hi Jeff

I just tried this on my laptop and I get the same problem. My laptop was running an old version of Screencast and that worked fine I could sign in out without it effecting Fusion. I just updated screencast, rebooted my computer, started Fusion clicked the red button top right of screen to start screencast from within Fusion, signed out from screencast and it signed me out of Fusion. So it looks like it's something to do with the latest version of screencast and maybe starting it from the red button in Fusion.

Here's another odd problem, when I'm signed out by screencast the signin menu is greyed out and clicking does nothing, the only way to sign in is to use screencast, signing in in screencast signs Fusion back in. It seem like the 2 apps are linked somehow!

You could be right...  I have not run into the "stuck uploading" problem since I've installed the new Screencast version, so I haven't had to try my fix since then.  It does sound like there may be a problem introduced by this latest screencast.  We'll look into it and see what we can find.

This is by design.

Logging into Screencast or Fusion 360 will log you into the other. Logging out of Screencast or Fusion 360 logs you out of the other.

Here is the Screencast community forum, in case you need it.

@Phil.E It's rather unfriendly that screencast signs you out of Fusion and leaves you no way of saving your work though. If you sign out of screencast  you get this dialog asking if you want to save but by this point you're signed out.

If you click save you get this save dialog but you can't save because the cloud library is signed out and closed.

This is being discussed right now, thanks for the feedback. I just tested that workflow and got the same results.
