Problem with Radius Dimension

Hi, I am having a problem with the radius dimension on a section view. Please have a look at the 2 attached files. Um, there were supposed to be 2 files. The attachment browse button below will only let me select a single file. The dimension on the component view is working ok. On the section view it points to the "OTHER SIDE" of the arc (the non-existant side). Any ideas? Regards, Brett

There's a  button with an icon looking like a camera and a label called "Photos" in the menu bar right above the text editing field.

This allows to attach multiple images at the same time.

Can those dimensions not be r-arranged to point the right side of the fillet ?

Hi Peter,

I have attached the other image here. And the attachment seems to be working properly now. I.E. it attaches the file then make a new blank attachment field 1 line down. It was not doing that this morning.

No. I tried rotating the radius dimensions around on both of them, as shown in the previous and current attachments(the component view and the section view).

On the component view they were ok. On the section view they were pointing to the other (non-existant) side of the arc.

Ok, weird, just tried it again with another component. It seems to be working properly now.

I did not restart fusion, so no idea why.

Thanks anyway.

Regards,

Brett

The photo button allows you to embed the images directly into your post, like I did with the image o the menu bar. They don't have to be clicked on to be viewed. In this age of short attention spans that's a plus in my book 😉

Hi,

Different drawing same problem, so the files that I attached above still apply.

On a view of the component, I can insert a radius dimension without any problems, and it works properly.

On a section view of the component, the arrow points to the non-existant side of the arc. I.E. the arrow points through the arc to the other side (which does not exist).

In the image (RADIUS DIMENSION ON A SECTION.PNG) both of the radius dimensions are pointing at the arc on the bottom of the image. And both are pointing at the non-existant side of the arc.

This time I shut down and restarted fusion to see if that would make any difference. Nothing changed.

Regards,

Brett
