Problem with "mirrored" sketching

I'm trying to go back into each one of my sketches and correct some problems with them referencing a sketch that's actually not part of the current component.

I select the Sketch, choose to Edit Sketch, and then draw a new line in that sketch. But the line that gets created is NOT in the location where I drew it. Rather, it pops up on the exact opposite side of the vertical axis. I tried rotating the whole sketch around the vertical axis, so that I was seeing it from "the other side", but drawing a new line there causes the same issue, the line actually appears over on the other side of the axis, as if it's a mirror of the line I intended to draw.

I have NEVER had this happen previously.

In the image below the line I am attempting to draw is on the left side, the black line with the small square at its bottom, and the line that ACTUALLY gets drawn into the sketch is the blue line to the right with the circles on either end.

This even happens if I create a brand new sketch and try to draw something in it. I always get a mirror image of what I'm trying to draw.

What in the world am I doing wrong?

Once again, this is the project (attached) I'm working on and that is behaving oddly.

My instance of Fusion is in the process of a circa 1 hour file load, following a crash, so... I'm not in a position to test the file at the moment.   That said, I have experienced some absolutely bizarre Sketch behavior following a couple recent Updates- including elements being radically displaced from the Grid Points they were Snapped to, once completed.    In my case, restarting Fusion allowed for "normal" Sketching.    That may not help- but just knowing the fault ain't necessarily the user is a relief, of sorts.    I suspect Fusion may be confused between which Origin to associate to for the operation, which for display.

Thank you for responding. I tried restarting Fusion and that had no effect. I opened a different project (actually a different version of the same project) and editing sketches in that one is just fine, none of the weird "mirroring" of sketched lines. But the problem still occurs in the one I was working on. It would appear that something damaged that one project file.

Roger, this is kinda like putting a fresh wine or cheese aside to age- you may enjoy it someday, maybe somebody else will, but, in the meanwhile, make other plans for today.   And tomorrow.   And the next.   Etc.

Well, thank you for the warning that, basically, I shouldn't expect this issue to get resolved any time soon.

Fortunately (?!) this very serious problem occurred on a test duplicate of my project and not on the main project itself. If it ends up occurring on the main project I'll really be in trouble.
