Hi
I designed a handle for my assembly and I want to know if it can withstand the loads. The assembly is like this:
Then I simplified it for simulation:
I added constraints and bolt connectors and leave contact types by default as bonded then run the simulation.
The result seems to be relevant, but in the real world, most of my model's contacts should be separation or sliding rather than bonded. When I apply separation as contact types, DOF view shows that the parts are free.
Can someone help me on this?
If the simulation result is correct, how can I strengthen weak points of this handel?
