Problem going from sculpture to solid for CNC

Hi,

I'm very new to fusion, so please bare with me.

My goal is to CNC a self made landscape out of wood.

While sculpting the landscape I encountered many Tspline issues etc. Battling my way through it I came to a design I'm pretty happy with.

But how do I get it to the manufacturing environment so that I can select pockets etc?

I saw a vid in which they project an area, and then "boundary fill" to make it a solid object.

When attempting to do this, it all goes wrong. Overlapping parts in the walls or so.

If someone could have look at it and give me some tips on how to go from here that would be AMAZING! File is attached.

Cheers, Ivo

Can you share the native Fusion 360 design?

If this is a T-Spline in Fusion 360, then there is no need to export this in .stl format.

Hi Peter, thanks for your reply! I had a quick look on your website. Simply mind boggling. You seem to live 5 galaxies away from my world here in the bush on a MacBook Air haha. Very impressive.

I found another way to cope with my bad drawing. I used the drawing to slice a block or so and that seems to work. Still would love some pointers. Both files are attached. A new problem now is that when I try to create gcode, it literally takes forever. I'm wondering if its my very limited computer power or if I can adjust the gcode a bit.

Thanks, very much appreciated.

"Split body" is also what I would use to create a solid body for the CNC work.

I cannot answer the gCode question as I don't have a CNC machine.
