so I noticed that the surface edge comb is better than the curve comb

but as it turned out the sketch comb only worsk with small scale values

too much scale and the left comb will not scale anymore breaking the flow

Hi Claas,

I was able to reproduce the effect here. I believe the comb scale is being limited based on the curvature of the curve. But it's allowing this limit to apply to different curves within the same selection group, giving the odd effect you are seeing. You're right that this doesn't seem to be the correct behaviour - I'll follow up on what's going on here and whether a fix is possible.

If you ensure that the scale values are the same for each curve, you should get an accurate reading at the connections ('Smooth' constraint = red lines touching = G2).

Thanks for reporting this one!

Jake

That's what I thought because the surface edge comb was perfect this the curves are too just the comb is broken apart scale wise
