Is there a common parts library available for injection molding, i.e. sprue? In Lars Christensen's video part 4 of injection mold making, he refers to downloading parts.
Hi, I am not aware of any parts library unless a private user has made one available for download. A quick check of Google did not provide any answers that indicate one is readily available.
It's possible Lars has created his own library.
Thanks and let me know if you have more questions about how to set this up.
Regards,
Autodesk Inventor Professional has a complete mold tooling library. Perhaps that is where the parts came from.
Students can get Inventor for free from http://www.autodesk.com/edcommunity
I used parts downloaded from Hasco. We used to use parts from them on a regular basis. I am sure there are others online.

Hope this is useful.
Best,
Lars
From within Fusion there's Insert a Manufacturer part (Part4cad) that has DMS and DME libraries that insert direct into Fusion as a component.
