Pattern on path twist problem

I am trying to use pattern on path to place these braces connecting the pipe that is already created. Each corner of the brace should go inside the pipe. When creating the pipe, I used sweep and twisted the angle 70' so it doesn't perfectly follow the original spline. Is there any way to make the braces be placed in the right way? Like using 2 different lines for pattern on path?

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

Here is the file. I have been using plane on path and projecting the sketch of the brace and adjusting for the drop of the roller coaster hill. It is very time consuming but works ok. Then the lift hill was easy to use the pattern on path because there is no twist.

If this were my design I would fully define the sketches.

I would probably avoid splines using intersecting curves instead.
