Pattern on Path issues.

Is pattern on a path broken? I'm trying to run this yellow body around the perimeter of the red. When I do it the pattern goes in some wierd direction around horizontally.

What do you have selected in the Orientation drop down menu in the Pattern on Path dialog?

This will change the orientation setting for the pattern. If this doesn't help, can you share a public link of the design?

See the two images below for reference. Note the difference between Identical and Path Direction.

Another common setting that could throw the pattern off is the Start Point. It may help to set this value to 0.0.

Ya, I'm not sure what was going on. I even drew a new model similar and it worked fine. I tried all the menu options on the image I posted and they were all the same.

 

I ended up doing a patch where I could extrude a sketch with the 3d pattern tool. Workaround but got er done.
