Parametric sketch doesn't update correctly causing loft to fall over

Hello All,

In the attached f3d file you will find the start of a parametric model I am making. There is a plane under the "rear" component called "main chamfer depth" that should control the height of the surface that has been generated by the last loft in the timeline. Unfortunately the sketch projection doesn't update when I move the plane, so the loft falls over. All i have to do is open "sketch7" delete the coincident on the end of the arc and add a new one, close the sketch and all is well, but i don't want to have to do these extra steps as its defeats the point of making it parametric to the plane.

I tried a couple of different methods before getting to this one, but its not ideal.

Any ideas?

Cheers,

I was not expecting such a simple solution.

So what doesn't Fusion recompute automatically? and can I change a setting so it does?

What is the reasoning for not updating constraints in sketches automatically? Processing time?
