Surface Design: Best Practices - Robust, Parametric Models

Hello All,

I have started remodelling a problematic component that starts life as a surface model. I am trying to add parametric capability and make it robust to future changes. My last CAD package was CATIA however, and it is structured very differently to F360 so a lot of my best practices don't apply anymore. Is there any tutorials or resources that give a good idea of how best to surface model in F360? I'm not looking for hours of "how to use fusion" videos, I can use the features or easily look them up, what I want is something that outlines the do's and don'ts of setting up a robust and parametric surface model. Even a list on this post would suffice.

If you want to see my starting model:

https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/fusion-360-design-validate/parametric-sketch-doesn-t-update-correctly...

For example, there is no way to group surface bodies (that i can see) which makes it difficult to organise the surfaces, so I have put each "group" of surfaces into a new component. Is that good practice?

Thank you,

Within a "Bodies" folder you can create new groups, which in essence are simply new folders.
